b. Rely on my instincts and gut feelings (Intuitive)

In a high-pressure decision-making situation, I am more likely to:
a. Remain calm and systematic in my approach (Rational)
b. Trust my intuition and make a quick decision (Intuitive)
c. Prioritize key information but may overlook some details (Bounded Rationality)
d. Opt for the quickest and most feasible solution (Satisficing)
When faced with uncertainty, I tend to:
a. Seek additional data and information to minimize uncertainty (Rational)
b. Trust my instincts and make decisions based on intuition (Intuitive)
c. Make decisions based on available information even if incomplete (Bounded Rationality)
d. Accept a level of uncertainty and make decisions with limited information (Satisficing)
My decision-making process is influenced by:
a. Logical analysis and objective criteria (Rational)
b. Intuition and a sense of “what feels right” (Intuitive)
c. Balancing trade-offs and making compromises (Bounded Rationality)
d. Seeking solutions that meet the basic criteria without exhaustive analysis (Satisficing)
In group decision-making situations, I am more likely to:
a. Advocate for a systematic and analytical approach (Rational)
b. Intuitively sense the group’s direction and contribute spontaneously (Intuitive)
c. Consider various opinions but may not thoroughly analyze all possibilities (Bounded Rationality)
d. Support solutions that are practical and achievable for the group (Satisficing)
I view decision-making as:
a. A logical process requiring comprehensive analysis (Rational)
b. An intuitive and creative process (Intuitive)
c. A process of balancing constraints and priorities (Bounded Rationality)
d. A pragmatic process focused on achieving acceptable outcomes (Satisficing)
When reflecting on past decisions, I am most likely to focus on:
a. The logical soundness and rationale behind the decision (Rational)
b. The intuitive sense or gut feeling that guided the decision (Intuitive)
c. The trade-offs and constraints considered during the decision-making process (Bounded Rationality)
d. The practical outcomes achieved, even if not optimal (Satisficing)
Scoring:
Count the number of “a” responses: Rational
Count the number of “b” responses: Intuitive
Count the number of “c” responses: Bounded Rationality
Count the number of “d” responses: Satisficing
Note: This self-assessment is designed to provide an indication of your dominant decision-making style and is not an absolute measure.
