Blog Instructions
Instructions: This week’s readings are about race in the media and crime in the news. For your blog this week, think about the following: If you were an alien and your only exposure to Earth was American media, what kinds of conclusions might you draw about various demographics (e.g. males, females, African Americans, Latinos, Asians, college students, children, older adults) and about crime?
After reflecting on this, write a blog that is at least two paragraphs long from your alien’s perspective. Be sure to provide justification based on your readings.

To participate in the blog, click on “Create Blog Entry”. Complete the section for the Title, and then type in your Blog post within the text box. If you need to attach a file to your post click on “Browse My Computer” and locate the file on your computer and click “Open”. Once you have completed your post, click “Post Entry”. You will also need to comment on the posts of your classmates. To do so click on “Comment”, type in your response and click on “Add”.
