Digital initiative proposal pitch Assessment
As a part of formal assessment programme, you are required to submit a Digital Health Leadership assignment which is the DIGITAL HEALTH AND CARE INITIATIVE PITCH.
The pitch could be presented as a document, a presentation slide deck, as a presentation delivered as a recording, or a poster or leaflet. The choice is your responsibility, and all options offer the equal opportunity to demonstrate achievement of the learning outcomes.

DIGITAL HEALTH AND CARE INITIATIVE PITCH – IN DETAIL
QUESTION :
Produce a “pitch” to propose a digital health and care initiative, which will enhance, improve, or transform an aspect of health and social care service delivery. The overall pitch should not exceed 2500 words or Arden University equivalence.
The pitch should:
- Outline the problem or issue for resolution.
- Showcase the proposed digital initiative.
- Analyse the value and benefit of digital technologies for different stakeholders.
- Discuss the risks and challenges associated with digital solutions.
- Describe a digital badge that can be achieved by the workforce upon implementation of the initiative.
STRUCTURE OF THE PITCH IN DETAIL
Introduction
- Introduce the aims of the assignment and your topic of focus.
- Explain which theoretical service you are focusing on, and the population affected by the issue that you wish to resolve.
- Explain how the pitch will be structured (background information on issue, overview of digital health technologies, rationale of selected digital health initiative to tackle the issue, leadership strategies that will be employed to implement the initiative within your theoretical team).
Remember that all points below need to be supported by current and reputable citations.

- Explain how the benefits outweigh the risks to justify your choice of initiative to resolve the issue identified for all stakeholders (patients, health care staff, public etc)
